Emytrillions  Activist To INEC, Judiciary, Security Agencies: Don’t Provoke Nepal-style Protests In Nigeria Sep 14, 2025 — by Starnews NG in  News Comrade Timi Frank, an activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to implement vital reforms ahead of the 2027 elections to ensure free, fair, and credible polls. Frank in statement on Sunday in Abuja, emphasised that both INEC, judiciary and security agencies, as well as other democratic institutions in the country, have critical roles in upholding the rule of law and preventing unrest similar to recent Nepal protests. He also urged the ruling All Progressives Congress to stop attacking, intimidating and harassing opposition leaders in the country. Emytrillions  Gunmen kidnap Kogi monarch Sep 3, 2025 — by Emytrillions  in  News Gunmen have abducted a traditional ruler, David Wada, the District Head of Bagaji Odo, in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State. Residents said the monarch was kidnapped on Monday evening while returning from a traditional council meeting held at Abejukolo, the headquarters of Omala LGA. Confirming the incident to reporters, the paramount ruler of the Local Government traditional council, Boniface Musa, who is the Onu Ife, appealed to security agencies to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted monarch. According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen ambushed Wada while he was being conveyed on a commercial motorcycle. The cyclist reportedly escaped narrowly, while the traditional ruler was whisked away.
