EPL: Two Managers Already Under Sack Threat as Season Kicks Off

Barely weeks into the new Premier League campaign, at least two managers are already under intense pressure, with speculation mounting over possible sackings.

West Ham boss Graham Potter is facing growing uncertainty after the Hammers’ dismal start to the season. Their troubles deepened on Friday night with a 5-1 thrashing by Chelsea, a result that leaves them winless after two matches and already being tipped as relegation candidates, having conceded eight goals.

Potter, who only replaced Julen Lopetegui in January, now finds his future hanging in the balance despite the season still being in its early stages.

Meanwhile, at Nottingham Forest, tension is also rising as manager Nuno Espirito Santo admitted that his relationship with club owner Evangelos Marinakis has broken down. Reports suggest Forest have already identified Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers as their preferred candidate should they decide to part ways with Nuno.

The developments underline the unforgiving nature of Premier League management, where patience is often in short supply and early results can quickly shape a manager’s fate.
