The victims, identified as Monday Orlovuu and his friend, were reportedly ambushed while working on their farmland located about four kilometres from Naka, the local government headquarters. Eyewitnesses told reporters that the farmers had gone to tend their crops when the attackers swooped on them, leaving both men dead on the spot.
