The case, which was initially filed in 2023, stems from a public notice by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announcing the sale of her properties. Alison-Madueke is asking the court to cancel the notice, claiming that the forfeiture order was made without giving her a fair chance to defend herself. During the court session on Monday, her lawyer informed the judge that they had received two motions from the EFCC and had submitted their responses.
